Most people I talk to that currently don’t enjoy what they do for a living usually list money as the reason. Yet, I often tell them that money can’t be the root cause why they don’t enjoy their current job, since most things we do for leisure as humans we don’t get paid for but pay someone else for the service instead.
Thus, the focus in my opinion should be on doing something for a living that you’re passionate about and that piques your interest outside of work some, oppose to just chasing a check on who is willing to pay the most.
Have you ever had a job at a place where the pay was great but you didn’t like it? If yes, what was the root cause why you know or think you didn’t like it?
