Most people that live paycheck to paycheck aren’t thinking about things that might happen in the future. However, I’ll like to caution Americans that live this way that recently received a $1200 stimulus check to not go and blow most of it on an item like a new big screen tv from Best Buy, but to save most of it for unexpected things.
- Whether you need to get new tires, brakes, or some work under the hood of your car complete, one of the three usually needs to be done every 1-2 years. Therefore, it’s a good idea to have some money put aside for this, oppose to having to scramble at the last minute to try and come up with it.
Out of Pocket Medical Expenses
- There is a high chance that you will need some type of key medical work done, even if it’s just dental that your insurance won’t cover everything and that you’ll need to come out of pocket for, especially if you got kids as well.
What are some other things you’ve seen or heard people blow their stimulus money on that you feel they should of save some of it for unexpected expenses?
