Would you say yes to a guy that you’re in love with that propose and presented you with a $50 dollar wedding ring?

If I was a woman, as much as it would hurt me to do it if I love the person, I would have to say no. I certainly wouldn’t look for somebody to go in debt to buy a wedding ring, but you don’t want the person to feel comfortable enough to just get you one of the cheapest rings in the store either, just because they know you will accept it.

Furthermore, you will need to spend more than $50 on most date nights doing anything as a couple that’s not even a special occasion.

Do you think a date is needed to find out whether you got good chemistry with someone you recently met?

I don’t think you know if you got good chemistry with someone by just texting them always. However, having a phone conversation of about 30 minutes a good indication to me of how a date will go. A good example, if I’m on a phone with a lady and 30 minutes to an hour goes by quickly and I enjoyed talking with her, that’s usually the case if I go on a date with her as well. Thus, a date isn’t needed in my opinion to know if you got good vibes with someone.

Agree

No two individuals are alike. Thus, if you’re in a relationship with someone, both of you won’t agree on everything usually. Yet, there are some key things that I feel two people together need to be on the same page on.

  • Key Beliefs & Values

If you believe in a higher power in life and your partner is an atheist, there is a great chance that both of you will disagree and bump heads often on a lot of most small things in life.

  • Chemistry

Someone can check all the boxes of things you’re looking for a potential partner to possess. However, if the natural chemistry not there, conversations on the phone and in person can never seem to flow naturally when the two of you talk.

What are some things you feel are important for two people to agree on or be on the same page about to have a successful long term relationship with each other?

Foundation

Any successful relationship involves some compromising on both sides in order for it to work. However, I feel like there are some things that both people must fully believe and have naturally together for a solid relationship foundation.

  • Great Chemistry

We should strive to be with someone that the chemistry just flows naturally with while on the phone or talking to the individual in person. Also, the conversation should rarely feel force like either of you had to work hard to find something to discuss.

  • Believe In Similar Key Values In Life

If you believe in some form of a higher power and the person you’re with is an Atheist who doesn’t, this type of situation can be a key detriment to the relationship definitely in the long term if not even in the short term.

Are there some other things you feel are key to have for a couples relationship to be built on a solid foundation?
